Isaiah 54:17 KJV
No Weapon Formed Against Us Shall Prosper
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
The last three words of this scripture, “saith the Lord,” gives the Believers confidence that the Lord has our back. We know that weapons are formed against us but they will be ineffective to do what the enemy has designed them to do.
We see in Isaiah 54, that Israel was going through a barren time. Likewise, our churches go through times when it seems as if there is no fruit and chaos is running rampant. In the midst of our troubles, we know that the Lord will silence the voice of the enemy. The Church will continue to grow and none of the lies that are uttered against it will prevail. Many distractions will come but we must remain focused on the purpose for which God has called each of us. We have an inheritance in righteousness which is of the Lord.
Be encouraged! The Lord is on our side and He has our back.
Have a blessed day!

“I Shall Not Die But Live”
Rev. Jesse Wilkerson
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”Psalm 118:17
Many of our young people are dying either by violence or disease. Spiritual death is also impacting our youth. Families used to go to church together. Now there are fewer and fewer people attending church. Young folk, no matter what the situation is in your lives; even if you don’t have everything you want, survive, move on, and get over it. Don’t think about dying.
The chief hope of the church is that Jesus is coming again. We are going to be caught up to live with the Lord. There are so many of our young folk falling away from the church. If we, the adults, don’t bring the young folk to church, who will? If we don’t tell them that they can live and not die, who will? The gospel is for everybody.
In the community of God, you don’t need a gun. Until we understand that education is powerful, nothing will change. We need to get a big idea. We have reduced Jesus to just a spare tire. We don’t know he is back there until we need him. Jesus is a big idea! Don’t think you are doing God a favor by coming to church. When an idea gets hold of you, it uses you. God is a big idea. If you want something in life, you will have to make sacrifices to receive it.
Sacrifice involves three things:
1. Vision – tell God about your vision. Map out your plan. It takes education. You don’t have to be old to have a vision. You can be young and have a vision.
2. Valiant – when things get rough smile anyway. Be strong when difficulty comes. When you are sick smile anyway. Our children are dying and parents need to step forward. We stand on the shoulders of our elders. Someone before you had to stand up for us. Someone had to speak truth to power.
3. Go and tell it. Tell someone that the Lord who gave you strength made a way for you and he can do the same for them.

"It's Time to Move Forward and Don't Look Back"
Minister ChaKedra Simmons
"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14
The Israelites were delivered by God from bondage (Exodus 12). However, when they got to the red sea, fear of what they saw made them want to go back to Egypt to what they were familiar with.

We have been blessed by God and delivered out of many situations.
We can identify with the above stories because just as God delivered others and they looked backwards, we tend to look at our past much too often. Looking backwards will prevent us from moving forward.
When God has forgiven us of our past sins, we must let go of them and accept God's forgiveness. God wants to do new things for us. In order to receive God's promises for our future, we need to let go of the past. Allow God to free you from your past. After all, God always has the last word. Move forward and don't look back. Amen.

Happy Father’s Day
From First Lady Pamela Williams
Exodus 20:12 KJV reads, “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”
We are to honor our fathers, not because it’s a holiday or tradition or because of a good sale in the store, but we are to honor them every day.
We are on the battleground and what is at stake are our children. Dads can help with their words. Talk to your children and be in their lives and tell them about God. Fathers are to give instruction and discipline. Your words will last long after you are gone. Learn to balance work and family. Check your schedule and see where you devote most of your time. Your children need quality and quantity of time.
The way you live your life is a reflection of what you value. Fathers make sure your children know that you know God. Amen

We Are The Children Of God...
Our heavenly Father created and designed us in His image and likeness. However, we have tampered with His design. We have sought to redefine ourselves based on what we see around us. We have allowed others to tell us who we are. We believed the lie that we can do with ourselves whatever we please. From the very beginning of life in the Garden of Eden, the enemy’s voice has tried to overshadow the voice of God. Some of our struggles in life have resulted from our failure to reject the advice of the adversary, satan. We need to listen to what the Lord God has said and is saying through his Word. Our Father loves us and we should hold fast to Him and not allow anyone to separate us from His love.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, wait no longer. Salvation is by the grace of God and it is available to everyone. The Apostle Paul wrote the following to the Romans in chapter 10 verses 9 through 13, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
The Word of God is active and alive. The same salvation the Apostle Paul wrote about to the Romans is available to everyone today. Invite the Lord to live in your heart today and you will never be the same. If you have prayed and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as savior, happy birthday to you, and welcome to the family of God!
Yours in Christ,
Min. S. Terrell
