PERSISTENCE

Luke 18:1-8 (KJV)  18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

John 3:16

God gave His Son.

His Son gave His life.

What do you plan to give?

OBEDIENCE

Scripture reference: St. Luke 5:1-6

Sometimes it seems as if our best efforts are not good enough to secure our intended results. The men in the above-referenced scripture were experienced fishermen.  They knew how to fish, what time to fish and where to fish.  But this fishing trip did not fill their nets.

Along comes Jesus. He tells the weary men, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." Peter replied, "Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

PRAY

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."  James 5:16 KJV

When we pray, not if, we must do so with the belief that our Lord hears us and will answer our prayer, if it is according to His will.  Our prayers will humble us and transform our mind, mood, and our attitude for the better.

VISION

In order for the body of Christ to move beyond the right here and right now, we must open up our spiritual eyes and look ahead to what can be.  Our carnal eyes can only focus on what is right in front of us.  To have a vision, we must be willing to see what God sees. "...God calleth those things that be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). What do you see?
